La storia Brooke Cottage

Il nostro posto è vicino alla spiaggia, ristoranti, ristoranti e locali notturni nel villaggio, due centri commerciali, Legoland, e le principali autostrade. Amerete il nostro posto a causa del mare picco vista, di nuova costruzione, il design cottage sulla spiaggia, e il quartiere. Utilizzare la piscina (non riscaldata) dall'alba al tramonto. Le caratteristiche includono ripiani in onice con sotto-illuminazione, fattoria lavandino, cucina a spruzzo industriali rubinetto, elettrodomestici inox, boiler senza serbatoio, cucina a vista e soggiorno, 15 ft soffitto a volta, e 256 deck piedi quadrati ovest per i tramonti con un picco panoramica la vista sull'oceano. Parcheggio nel vialetto accanto alla casa con il codice di porta fornita. In secondo letto è un full size divano pieghevole con materasso in schiuma di memoria. Il nostro posto è buono per le coppie, avventurieri solista, viaggiatori d'affari e famiglie (con bambini).

This was the most wonderful summer getaway!

We fell in love with the Story Brooke Cottage the moment we arrived! Chip and Quay were the most caring and kind hosts we’ve ever had. It was such a blessing getting to know them, and the cottage felt like home. They put so much effort into making our stay as amazing as it could be, and we are so grateful to know Chip and Quay. The Cottage is the perfect place for anyone looking for a beach getaway, and we are already looking at booking for next summer! We couldn’t be happier with our stay!

Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

The glowing reviews for Chip and Quay and their beautiful cottage drew us to this listing — and everyone's words of praise absolutely rang true all throughout our time in Carlsbad! We are truly honored to add another wonderful review for their place because we couldn't have asked for a better stay. First, Chip and Quay are the most gracious, welcoming hosts. They were available to answer any questions, took the necessary safety precautions during the pandemic, and always checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The cottage itself is absolutely stunning! The effort and attention put into the decor of the place is incredible — it's the perfect beach getaway and brought us so much light throughout our stay. It is also about a fifteen minute walk from the beach, and we were able to see the shore almost everyday! The sunsets, too, were wonderful every night. We couldn't have imagined a better semester, and we couldn't recommend a better location.

The perfect spot

We absolutely loved our time in Carlsbad. The apartment was bright and open and we loved how high up it felt with the ocean visible in the distance. We stayed for about a month and went on runs to the absolutely amazing nearby beach (less than 1.5mi), explored Carlsbad village and the surrounding San Diego area. The neighborhood is so great and quiet. Chip and Quay were awesome, checking in to make sure everything was okay but also giving us our space. We will always remember our time here fondly, thanks so much for your hospitality!

Heaven on Earth! What a peaceful experience.

The apartment is located about a mile and a half from theOcean! I went to the ocean twice daily and just walked and talked with God. I cannot describe to you the PEACE that I now carry. Quay and Chip were kind and welcoming and we simply wanted for nothing. The apartment is furnished with tremendous thought and it just could not have been a better experience. I look forward to returning to this apartment in the very near future.

Beautiful, relaxing retreat, close to everything!

My family had such a wonderful time on our recent summer vacation, in part due to our stay at the Story Brooke Cottage. It is conveniently located to all the usual San Diego area attractions, but more importantly, it's so close to the beach and the adorable Carlsbad Village area. Chip and Quay have created a beautifully decorated, cozy retreat, that was perfect for us when returning from a long day of sightseeing or beaching. The cottage fit the four of us comfortably. It was stocked with everything we needed, from Keurig coffee pods and trays for cookie baking, to extra blankets for my girls (so that I could keep the windows open all night to enjoy the ocean breeze without freezing them out!). My favorite thing to do was to have some quiet time in the morning with my cup of coffee on the balcony, while my family slept off the previous day's adventures. Our hosts offered their availability if we needed it, but allowed for privacy while we were there. Though, I wish I could have met Quay to tell her how much I loved her beautiful home! Thank you, Chip and Quay, for your part in helping us to create wonderful memories. We are blessed! We hope to visit again!

Beautiful, comfortable and relaxing

A beautifully decorated, peaceful retreat.

Chip and Quay are wonderful and gracious hosts. They were helpful upon checking in and available if we needed them; but allowed the privacy we desire when staying somewhere. The cottage is charming and the decor reminded us of remodels we've seen on HGTV Fixer Upper. So lovely! It has everything you need for a home away from home (including beach chairs, beach towels, and boogie board). Bed is comfortable, closet is nice. We enjoyed the porch area; great place to read, relax and enjoy the sunset. Close to "the village" and beaches. Would love to stay here again!

Charming Property

My husband and I visited Carlsbad for his birthday getaway, and we could not have found a more delightful property. This was our first foray into the HomeAway world, and we were extremely pleased that we chose the Story Brooke Cottage. The owners were most welcoming and very responsive when we had questions regarding shopping, restaurants, etc. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a wonderful, peaceful week of vacation. Perfect stay - supernice hosts

We had a perfect stay at the Story Brooke Cottage. The hosts were supernice and provided help/info if anything was needed. The cottage was even better than the pictures: nicely decorated, perfectly clean and spacy. The up to date kitchen provided everything we needed. Everything including the pool was very inviting and exceeded our exspectations. The surrounding beaches are nice and had good surf everyday. There are good Vons and Sprouts supermarkets nearby. Sprouts has a $ 5 special for super fresh and tasty Sushi on Wednesdays. Hopefully we will be able to return. Thanks Chip!!!

A lovely home away from home. Chip and Quay were very friendly, helpful and gracious.

We enjoyed the close proximity to downtown Carlsbad and our Marine son and his bride. The unit was beautifully decorated beyond the norm. There was a tranquil feeling all around and it truly felt as though we were in our home. Chip and Quay are decorating artists. Though not a real concern, perhaps an in-closet (small) dresser would help. Thanks for the memories

You won’t be disappointed

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was a cousins getaway and this suited our needs perfectly. Carlsbad is a favorite destination and we enjoyed our visit by staying at the Dtory Brooke Cottage. Didn’t get to enjoy the pool because the weather didn’t cooperate but enjoyed all the little touches. It is upstairs so keep that in mind when booking.

Location, comfort and beauty

Yours hosts have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. You can relax and enjoy your surroundings. The beach is close by. Or get on the road and explore what interests you. You will have a great nights sleep in the very comfortable bed. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. This beach themed apartment is a decorators delight.

I believe that my stay here was a small glimpse of what Heaven will be like. I have been blessed.

This home, along with the owners, exceeded my expectations in multiple ways. They didn't just allow me to be in thier rental, but allowed me to be a part of thier family. Never before have I experienced such a warm and welcoming invitation from someone. They did not treat me as a tenant but instead as a guest. Chip and Quay connected me with amazing people and resources that made my trip that much more of a success. I was able to connect, relate and serve the people of the community over Thanksgiving break, making myself, eternally greatful. God has a purpose in each one of our lives and it is beautifully displayed in the hearts and home of the Bell family, and the Cottage itself.....simply breathtaking. Truly a StoryBrook Cottage

This was absolutely the best Home Away we’ve stayed in. Chip and Quay make sure all your needs are met. We arrived to find the the cottage to be exactly as described. To our surprise they even stocked the frig with a few supplies, had fresh flowers on the counter and plenty of Morning coffee. The Perfect Choice

Charming cottage with all the extras. The owners greeted us on our arrival and helped us with our luggage and groceries. They have created a wonderful vacation casita that’s bright and charming. Amazing

My wife, baby and I had a wonderful stay at the Story Brooke Cottage. Their house is beautifully decorated and very clean. William "Chip" and Quay were great hosts going above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Communication with them leading up to our visit was very prompt and they made sure we had all the necessary essentials even for our little one. When we arrived they had fresh flowers and few groceries in the fridge for us. We would recommend this rental to anyone and will be back when we are in the area. Thanks!

Ideal Spot

We traveled from Calgary with our 4 year old & 6 month baby and the Story Brooke Cottage was an ideal spot which allowed us the opportunity to access everything we needed within a short drive. Wonderful place to be!

We have nothing but beautiful memories and experience to share. The Story Brooke Cottage was a perfect getaway from our everyday life in Chicago. The cool evening breeze combined with the very comfortable bed with nice and soft sheets made us sleep like babies. Our son enjoyed the sparkling clean pool any time of the day. I liked to relax on the hammock in shade by the pool. The hosts Chip and Quay were absolutely nice and friendly. If we needed anything all we had to do is tell them and we would get it. We will be back the first chance we have. Highly recommend!

We chose Carlsbad because it was centrally located to all the attractions and activities we wanted to take the family to. The house was nice, clean, inviting, and area felt very safe. The kids loved having the use of the swimming pool every day. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed and if we needed anything else the owners would get it for us (scissors & can opener). We enjoyed our stay in Carlsbad and at the Story Brook Cottage.

Our yearly vacation

Simply awesome. One of the best and most relaxing vacations we ever had. Chip and Quay were fantastic and made sure our family had a wonderful time. The boys absolutely loved the pool and the peace and quiet at night couldn't be beat. We will be back! We highly recommend The Story Brooke Cottage!

Perfect cottage for a family getaway! Great location and immaculately clean.

We had a great long weekend at the Story Brooke Cottage. The location was perfect being only a few minutes to the beach and close to restaurants and activities in the Carlsbad Village area. Chip and Quay were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage itself was in perfect condition and had all the essentials we needed.
