Hotel a Carlsbad

“This place was disgustingly bad, online pictures are fraud pool is full of trash oh and has no water. Room looked like bed bug haven couches were dirty and ripped just totally bad place to stay”

“The pool was empty and the kids were very disappointed. Next, the two rooms we booked and paid for weeks ago were not what the hotel had when we got there. They had us in rooms with one king bed and a pull out couch. Not what we paid for. They finally found us the last 2 queen room but we had to use the king/couch for the other room. Not a very good night sleep on a pull out lumpy couch. The pancake maker was not working at breakfast. I went to the front desk and ask about it. Turns out...

“Bed was comfortable, room was comfy. The only problem we had was Expedia booking. We don't live in a communist country. My husband who booked the room used Expedia and was charged $84 dollars more than the room was rated $85 a night. We had no choice and the lady who was very nice explained that we could not use our AAA or AARP discounts. That Expedia was a third party. This was robbery. We will never use Expedia ever again. We are seniors and I don't like being scammed.”

“Either the outlets didn't work or the lamps were busted. Room smelled disgusting. Carpet was gross. Sink was had a huge rusted hole in it. Bath tub was stained with black spots. Towels were all stained yellow or gray color. Lots of lingering people outside your room. I don't know how this had a good rating.”

“Our room was clean and comfortable. Heat & cooling controls were easy to operate. Amenities were very good. It felt like an oasis with private parking right at our door and outdoor seating. Walking around the art center we were surrounded by unique art decor and creative and welcoming artists. The staff were friendly, attentive and recommended local places of interest. We highly recommend a stay here. ”

“The room was wonderful and I had the best night sleep. I usually can't sleep the best outside of my home but I was very surprised how well I slept. I believe it's the firmness of the mattress and the softness of the pillows. The breakfast was good as well. Staff was wonderful and very polite.”

“The floor had not been mopped or swept. A previous guest let a pop blow up in freezer and it wasn’t cleaned up along with floor. The beds were clean and comfortable.”

“Was in town for 2 days for our son graduation sheets were dirty with stains on them, room had a horrible smell like old mold or something, pool was none existent no water in it. This room was no where near the price it should have been too pricey for that nasty room overall horrible hotel needs a whole makeover ”
