“The Oceaneer surprised us in many ways. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, and the property is exceptionally clean. The recent renovation gives the place a very modern feel. They did an excellent job transforming the old motel rooms into cozy, contemporary spaces with a nicely updated bathroom and shower. “The room was clean and big enough with good access and view of the beach. Kitchen was equipped enough of useful utensils. Somewhat of an oversight is the loud smoke detector almost directly in the vicinity of the stove and oven where smoke will definitely rise if you are cooking. Hence, the alarm blared while we were cooking.”
