Not to mention the warm and welcoming owner, the spectacular view of Whiteface mountain (so close that I felt that I could reach out and touch it), the majestic music on arrival, and the oodles of personality in every inch of it.......the likes of which is so missing in the cookie-cutter lodgings that we are so accustomed to! “My wife and I had a lovely weekend stay at this inn during the 4th of July weekend. We were mostly in the area for hiking and just needed a place to sleep and relax when not exploring the area. Lovely stay at Lookout-cabin

"We had such a wonderful time at the Lookout cabin. It was our first time in the area, and my wife and I fell in love with the cabin as soon as we saw it :) The cabin is provided with absolutely everything you need: - a fully equipped kitchen - media entertainment (WiFi, TV, etc.) - a cozy little bathroom with nice hot shower (note: might be tight if you're on the "bigger" size) - a lovely bedroom and for warmer months even a covered back-porch with fire-pit and chairs to hang out in the evening around a crackling fire. I've only left a 4/5 on the position, because even though the location is great to easily reach many points of interest in the area (this is what we cared most), on the flip side it is quite close to the main road, and if you're a light-sleeper as I am, the sounds/lights of trucks in the morning might get to you while you still sleep; not a deal-breaker, but also worth mentioning. Julie, the host, was always kind and ready to support, and we really appreciated going out of their way and taking care of the extra heater for the colder days, it really helped us <3 All in all, even if I'll repeat myself, we had a really great time, and we'll definitely consider coming back to it once visiting the area again :) Cheers Giuliano"
