We had great grandkids racing in the front yard and the older generation played hacky sack out back. There was plenty of room in the kitchen to prep the lunch and display the cake. Mama loved exploring the home and the little articles about the houses history. She loves old structures. A wonderful place for her party and great memories for all the family.”

“This place is great! Right off the square in Carthage. Steps from shopping and the Civil War museum. And dont sleep on the Mexican joint across the road. 2nd fllor family gathering area is spacious and perfect. Beautifully restored. Highly recommend.”

“The cute house was in a good location and close to everything. It was exactly what the description and pictures showed. The best part for us was that there was a great fenced in yard where our dogs were allowed to run and play. The host was quick to respond to our questions and even though we weren't able to check in early, we had no issues during our stay. It was tight on the queen size beds but they were very comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. We will definitely stay again!”

“Our family of five (kids ages 5, 4, and 4) just returned from a weekend at this house while attending a family wedding. I've stayed at several rentals over the years, and nothing has been near as good as this property. The decor was beautiful, the rooms were large, the kitchen was full of any items we could need, the dining area was comfortable, and the living room provided a great opportunity to watch some movies (several streaming apps available on the TV) with the kids in front of the fire...

“This home has been renovated and you can feel the love and pretty finishing touches everywhere. With that said, there were some minor issues with cleanliness, which management did address. The quality of the mattresses and bedding could be improved The dogs loved the yard, and the location was central for Joplin. But overall the listing was very accurate and we made some wonderful memories with our family. .”
