“The hosts were very hospitable and helpful. We stayed for three days. The host arranged a driver to and from Colombo at a good rate. On the return day he also arranged a tour to local waterfalls before returning to Colombo. Excellent breakfasts and home cooked dinners”

Lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea. The staff, especially Sameera, were absolutely excellent- they couldn’t do enough for us. “The location of this resort is stunning, just beautiful. The service is superb. The food is amazing. And the cottage itself was tastefully recreated. We enjoyed walking the tea trails - just expect to make an effort on the plantation hills. We also relaxed and enjoyed the hotel every afternoon. They will do anything to make your stay as perfect as possible. It was an ideal stay for us. ”

“The views over the valley, the tea plantations and agricultural land are fantastic. The villa is set up on a hillside, about 3km out of town. It takes approximately a 10 min tuk tuk drive into town. The staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented, mostly made in wood and looking very smart. The room and bathroom were large, clean and well presented. The whole place is beautiful an dis surrounded by beautiful countryside. ”

“Nice peaceful location. 1 Bedroom apartment very roomy. Food was great. Staff service was excellent. The only downside was that the resort should alert travelers that the pool is not in operation and there is not a Hot Tub. ”

“Clean room, nice new hotel at a good price. Not near any other dining options without a taxi or tuktuk ride except for a nearby coffee place that was decent. Can walk from there down to the lake, community sports grounds and nearby polo grounds. The horses are feeding on the grass at the sports grounds and are being walked by their riders/grooms. Can walk around the lake.”
