“This property was very nice. There was a bit of construction on site but it did not bother me at all. The view from the room and balcony is priceless. What I loved the most was the view in the shower. Imagine, taking a shower with a volcano in the background. Great place!”

“La mansion is in a beautiful location, and has nice views of the lake. The swimming pool and hot tub (more of a warm-tub) were great. I also loved our bright yellow room with crazy tiles thoughout the bathroom. The restaurant was ok. I would recommend eating at one of the local sodas instead. Overall, a great spot if you have a car to explore the area(Including La Fortuna)”

“We had a wonderful stay at Los Lagos! The staff were friendly, and then complimentary breakfast was great. The hot springs are very well maintained, as is the rest of the property. Make sure to check out the trails and the viewpoint! Our only comment is that the walls are quite thin so you can easily hear what is going on in the units next to you. Depending on who your neighbours are, this could be a bit annoying. Not much they can do about this though and we would still highly recommend!”

“This place was a gem, nice clean rooms with a kitchen. Our room was facing the volcano so that was a surprise. They had a bridge to walk over to get to breakfast, that was so cool for the kids. Breakfast was so good and fresh. I highly recommend. ”

“Clean bungalow set in a pretty, well-maintained natural setting. Good views of the volcano. Decent breakfast with both hot and cold foods available. Not too far from the town of La Fortuna. ”

“The view and the owner/hostess made our stay! The personal attention at breakfast was delightful. This feels more like renting a villa with a morning chef than like a hotel. There are a couple good restaurants at the bottom of the hill for dinner. The drive to La Fortuna is 30 minutes. Be aware there is no air conditioning. There are windows with screens on 3 sides of the villa so the breeze is nice. In the morning you’ll hear a beautiful symphony of birds. I would stay here again.”

“Quest'hotel è molto bello, nel cuore del parco dell'Arenal (l'unico). Le camera spaziose e compde, vista sul verde. Passeggiata di 2 ore inclusa, colazione inclusa e piscina anche. Il riatorante ha la vista sul volcan e si mangia bene. ”

“Bellissimo albergo immerso nella natura con una vista stupenda sul vulcano Arenal. Camere spaziose pulite con ogni tipo di confort, bagno davvero particolare con piante e rocce vere! La cascata nel bagno (oltre alla doccia) e la vasca idromassaggio privata in terrazza sono davvero fantastiche. Piscina bellissima (riscaldata di sera) davvero rilassante con seggiolini del bar immersi nell'acqua dove puoi sorseggiare un cocktail immerso nelle acque del vulcano. Unico difetto: un po' troppi...

“This is a very beautiful home, clean, modern, perfectly comfortable. Host is very kind and attentive. Location is farther from La Fortuna but closer to all the hot springs, waterfall and places to explore. Uber was helpful to get here and get around. Peaceful environment full of beauty. Highly recommend.”

“omg this place is a paradise!! its such a small resort (like 30 rooms) however, it has like 8 pools, most of them thermal springs, the rooms are absolutely beautiful and the bathrooms are so spacious and clean! luxury and the staff is soooo nice! the breakast food was delicious!! 7 am breakfast everyday. we had dinner there once (not included in price) and that too was delicious. I honestly will book again, because i felt like i was in paradise!!”

The staff were welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the hot springs were fantastic and lush tropical gardens everywhere you look. We truly loved our stay at Hotel El Silencio del Campo and would highly recommend it.”
