“My stay at sangregado lodge was great. The room was beautiful. It was raining a lot but we still had an opportunity to see the volcano straight from our room. Staff was very attentive and nice. We didn’t rent a car but we had access to shuttles and taxis that could take us anywhere. I think id recommend getting a car though as it might be a bit more cost efficient, but overall either is doable. There’s a lot of winding roads and there are no restaurants on the property so we had to travel about...

“Don't hesitate,this place is amazing. We stayed in the 3 bed/3bath villa with a private pool. The pool was heated and so warm that we stayed in it for hours. The sunset view can't be beat better than any ocean view we've had. There were many different birds all day long. The beds were comfortable and there was so much room. “I cannot say enough about our stay here. The owner helped my friend picking herbs and making a tea to settle her stomach. They ensured we had enough towels and checked in daily with us. Theu staff were very helpful. They have just added 2 new rooms and the views aroind the property were perfect. There is a swinging bridge you walk over to get to breakfast in the morning and they follow their schedule it was perfect and i am already planning my next visit back”
