“Let us check in an hour earlier due to a long drive which was extremely helpful, the room was clean and bigger than expected. Found at checkout you can pay £5 to gain access to the neighbouring hotels pool and sauna which would have been good to know at check in. Will stay again.”

“A good spacious apartment with easy access for parking, excellent bed, TV and shower. Apartment would really benefit from a freezer section in the fridge, oven (or microwave which you can use as an oven) and more utensils (decent sharp knife, tin opener, kitchen towel, bin bags etc) but overall very good. I've stayed here before in a different, better equipped apartment and would definitely recommend it. Check in is very quick and easy and the parking is super convenient. Thanks for a good stay.”

“For the grandeur of the hotel, the breakfast was not the best for the money self service with tinned mushrooms and the sausages not the best, plus not very hot. And another thing is they charge for parking, a hotel situated away from any means of getting there other than by car with plenty of land you should not be charged to park at £13.50 a day when simular hotels at the same rates do not charge. It is a very nice art deco looking place with a lovely spar and pool.”

“Room was very dated, had a musty old smoke smell. The bathroom was in desperate need of renovations. Parts missing from the tap, a weird old dirty attachment randomly stuck to the wall, the bath was marked and scratched (looked very dirty so did not use). Breakfast was an absolute shambles, it was so busy and crowded with no systems in place, there was barely any food left and seemed to be only one person refilling the food station. “Having air con in the room was a huge relief in the heatwave! However, throughout my stay there was a terrible smell of blocked drains around the reception area and near the restaurant. Breakfast was acceptable, but not brilliant (fried eggs were hard and rubbery, the bacon & sausages rather sad, and there was a poor selection of cereal). The whole place looked in need of a bit of TLC, but on the whole the staff were helpful.”

“Spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff. The sofa could do with an upgrade for comfyness. There are some stains on the carpet by the dining table. There's enough utensils, crockery etc and everything works fine; but I think it's a place designed for a short stay. Cellular signal is poor (EE). It is in an excellent spot and it's easy to park in the adjacent public car park and check in your numberplate at the bar so it's free.”

“Staff were great and breakfast was very good. Various little maintenance issues with the room (safe didn't work, various lights not working, mixer tap faulty so no cold water available). If the maintenance were sorted it would easily be rated excellent as the staff were great.”

“La collocazione è perfetta, con una passeggiata in un verso si arriva in centro, nel verso opposto al Newport Transporter Bridge. La struttura è nuova, pulita, sicura. Mi è stato gentilmente concesso il check in anticipato, cosa che non tutti fanno! L'unico aspetto che rivedrei sono le pulizie: bisognerebbe che le stanze venissero rifatte, se non proprio quotidianamente almeno ogni 2 GG...per brevi soggiorni ok, per quelli un po' più lunghi inizia ad essere un disagio!
