“What an absolute gem of a property! I come to Hove for business and have always stayed quite some distance away (Hayward Heath) due to the lack of secure parking at most properties in the area. So to find this fabulous property so close to my customer’s site was fantastic. Off street parking on the drive of the property means no hunting for a parking space. “I was looking for a convenient place to stay near Brighton, and this turned out to be an excellent choice. Communication was great throughout, with quick and helpful responses to any questions I had. The bed was very comfortable, making for a good night’s sleep, and the free on-street parking nearby was a real bonus. Overall, a very pleasant and hassle-free stay.”

“Staff were lovely, as was breakfast and the bar. But the rooms and decor are the key feature of this hotel and certainly make it unforgettable. Our room and bathroom were not huge but more than adequate and comfortable. The theming of the rooms, corridors, stairways and bar area is amazing, thoughtful, creative and makes this hotel worth a stay for sure, as does the cheeky nature and sense of humour. “No staff on site but as expected. Door codes worked as indicated, although knowing the bedroom door needed a key which was stored on the ground floor would've been good to know before climbing four flights of stairs. More like shared housing with individual rooms than a hotel - could hear all the plumbing and foot movements of the room next door. Fine for an overnight stay. ”

“No parking as advertised. Staff were very casual - often sat on their phones on the sofa round the corner from the front desk. There was nowhere to hang the shower hose. It was just loose over the bath. They did fix it once I told them, but I would've expected it to have been addressed before my arrival. The windows were a bit broken and there was pigeon mess all over the sills. The view was very derelict. Overall it was ok for a place to lay my head on a work trip, but there's plenty of...

“The only things nice is how close is to the sea side, need to be careful for any extra charges, thankfully my bank didn’t let the transaction go through and sent me a new card, but still was able to stay without paying those charges (almost £140)”
