While booking this place (Dover Inn next to the Gariahat Police Station), I was hesitant because of some scary reviews among other good ones. “This is not a hotel, rather a guest house. The front door is locked between 11pm to 7am and you would need additional help if you need to go out or get back in during that time. Also there’s no housekeeping. If you want your room to be cleaned, you would need to stay in your room during the day so that it can be cleaned in your presence. The owner doesn’t trust the staffs so they don’t get spare keys to enter the room. ”

The hotel phone number provided on Expedia is incorrect, and we could not connect with the hotel. 2.
