In South Africa, too many people have hijacked at gates so I left rather than wait for them to respond. They finally called me back 17 minutes later. - but by then it was too late. “One O Eight was the perfect stay. The room and property was spotless (the bath in the room was such a night treat), and the staff were all incredibly lovely. I opted for a hotel pickup from the airport as a solo female traveller and it was fairly priced and not much more than an Uber & I really enjoyed chatting with the lovely driver that collected me. “I loved the attention to detail in the room. Chocolate on the desk next to the bed, cabinet to enclose the mini fridge and snacks, bottled water, ice already in the ice bucket, slippers by the bed and a personal message on the tv when I walked in. It was elegance through and through. The staff were amazing and it was only a two minute walk from the O.R. Tambo Airport. My only regret is that I didn’t arrive until 8:15pm and had to leave by 8:30am the next morning to catch another flight. I...
