“Brought my Siser here for her birthday. We both loved it. Loved our room overlooking the river. The staff was wonderful and welcoming and the kitty stretched out on the front desk was a special added treat. The room was clean and spacious. I can't say enough of the Helendorf. I do know we can't wait to return.”

“Air conditioning was bad.. too much noise but no cooling. On top of that I get call at 1am to tune down then music when I was sleeping. Front desk lady didn’t bother to check outside room and just called me randomly because she heard something from downstairs.. it was really weird.”

“Not handicap friendly in any way. 2 handicap parking spots for entire property. 1at resort and one at golf area. One at resort taken up alot iof time by valet staff with cars with no placard or license plate. Lots of hills, steps. They charge extra $35 per day to use "amenities" which are down hills, steps and poorly maintained. View is beautiful but everything else needs work.”

“The Hotel was on the edge of town, but was in reasonable walking distance to many attractions, shops, and restaurants. It is beside the river so there isn't a ground floor and there is only one elevator, so please be patient. The staff was helpful, breakfast bar was good, and it has access to the river and a pool.”

“The location was nice and a great view. Staff at the front desk were very good and accommodating. The continental breakfast was okay. Parking was convenient. Where they lack is in cleanliness, floors were so dirty. The pillow had a bad odor when I took the cover off it was yellow and had mold. I reported it to the front desk. The chair in the room was stained badly. The bedcover had a smell and were humid. With that alone I would not return or recommend this place”

“This place is okay for no more than one night. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and there is no real housekeeping service — they only change the towels and take out the trash. The floor in the room was dirty, and the bedding did not smell fresh. Overall, I think there are better options for the price I paid. One important thing to know: it’s about a 19-minute walk to the village, but there are no sidewalks, so it’s much better to drive, which only takes about 6 minutes.”

“Breakfast was fine, staff friendly & helpful. Parking was perfect. Only complpaint? That was the dirtiest room I've stayed in in a long time. Large dead bug on a/c, live bug running through bathroom, sink had a lot of tiny pieces of ?? all over it (I have a picture). Also, faucet was just dirty, toilet looked in need of cleaning, floor sticky. Made me not want to touch anything. BUT, the beds were clean & comfortable.”

“Ok... So there's definitely NOT a pool. It's was as low end as it gets ... Like, we walked outside and found a bullet on the ground right outside the door. They double booked the room, so someone else had keys to our room.... ”
