“Had some issues making an adjustment to original booking dates despite it saying changes or cancelations could be made up to a day before arrival. Instead of removing one of the three nights they cancelled the existing booking entirely and rebooked for 2 at a date much closer to the trip which drastically increased the cost of this stay. Room had a weird smell. About what you would expect for a lower cost hotel/motel type stay.”

“We booked the more expensive room and when we arrived they gave us the cheaper room that smelled. When I returned to the desk they told me it was a pet room (hence no carpeting). They changed it. When I checked out I asked if they could kindly hold my bag because my husband took the car to a meeting and would pick them up in a couple hours so I did t have to drag them to breakfast meeting. They refused. No willingness to accommodate me. Very disappointing customer service for a Best Western. ...

The third level is the best; however, on the second and first levels, you can hear all the footsteps from guests above, which made it difficult for me to fall asleep. I might have just had a noisy guest above me. It’s not worth the $257 a night, but it’s still a charming older hotel.
