“The room is in need of refurbishment, curtains not hanging from rail properly, fan heater looks in poor condition, room rather stark being all in white, not welcoming when coming in from the cold and took time to warm up. Poor value for money.”

“Lovely stay at a genuine village pub, not a restaurant with rooms or a hotel with a bar, this is the real thing. Beautifully furnished rooms, amazing staff and service and fantastic atmosphere, and Blewbury is beautiful. The Ukrainian menu has to be tried! We loved also that the dog was as welcome as we were.”

“It was clean but condition of room wasnt great. It served the purpose of a last minute cheap option. Was a bit difficult to find as entrance is between shops and the rooms are above the shops.”

“This place was a dump. It smelled if sewage and the owner/manager was rude and arrogant. He sent an invoice for GBP20 for an early check-in, we were there an hour early, he gave us the key and never said a thing; good luck with that !!!. The menu was pathetic. We didn't eat there at all. Horrible experience. The room was very clean as was the bathroom, but the sewage smell was unbearable. Never again, whoever owns this place needs a new manager, if the manager is the owner this place can't...

“Stayed here for a couple of nights over the Easter weekend and the whole stay was great. The staff was very helpful and attentive, the rooms are a great size, very clean and have all the amenities you could ask for. Had breakfast & dinner at the motel diner and was lovely food as well so could well recommend this if you’re not too sure where to go for food. Overall great place to stay if you’re in the area!”
