“We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. We can’t say enough about the innkeeper Lisa; she went above and beyond to ensure that not only were our needs met, but our expectations exceeded. Continental breakfast is modest but tasty. “What a wonderful stay. From the abdolutely nice place , beautifuly mentained, to a absolute clean room ,to a very nice loby room with all the amenities needed. The baggels and especialy the raspberry spread that was delicious, not to mention the hospitality the owners oferred was bar none. Mike made sure everybody and everything was great for a nice quiet stay. That makes it for a come back for sure. Absolutely reccomend this wonderful place 100% !!! “The property was conveniently located and surrounded by retail stores and dinner options. Staff was extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. However the room was disappointing. The kitchen and bathroom showed signs of wear and tear, not all electric outlets were working and the hair dryer was also not working…luckily I brought my own. Lack of attention to detailed cleaning as we found cobwebs near the air conditioner and under the lamp shades.”

“Alexandra and Anthonie were both super nice and friendly. When we arrived, they gave us a rundown of nearby restaurants to go and have dinner. Then showed us to our room and amenities. Room and bathroom were clean and comfy, wifi was fast there were extra pillows and blankets if needed. The area around the Inn is very cute, my girlfriend and i went for a walk in the nearby park in the morning and visited the Inn bookstore (we ended up buying 5 books lol). “Our room was clean and spacious. We rented the “Gather” which is a little suite with two rooms with king beds, and 1 1/2 bath. The beds were very comfortable and each room has a window air conditioner that you can operate at your comfort level. There is a bar that is self serve 24/7 where you can get spring, or bubbly water and home baked snacks. It was a 20 min walk to the church street marketplace where there are many restaurants and shops to experience, and an additional 10 min walk took you...
