“Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. “Stayed here for 2 nights in July, was not sure what to expect but the staff were an absolute delight! The rooms were spotless and the amenities were well thought out (we had a fan already provided due to the heat!)
We ate in the attached restaurant - was really tasty.
Whilst they didn't have one of the breakfast options (no avocado either morning despite having a huge morrisons down the road!) the breakfast was tasty and well cooked.
Would definitely recommend if you are staying on the Isle...

“Comfortable and stylish hotel in an excellent location near the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells. Breakfast was very good although it took time to find a member of staff to take our order when we arrived at 7.30am. ”

"Al netto di qualche piccola pecca nella pulizia della stanza (letto e bagno erano okay, ma abbiamo trovato MM's sul pavimento...), la stanza era comoda e con vista sull'ingresso dell'autodromo, arredata in stile racing e piuttosto silenziosa. Siamo rimasti solo una notte di passaggio, per cui non abbiamo sfruttato Spa e altri servizi, ma tutto sommato, e considerando anche l'ottimo prezzo, un'esperienza che rifarei"
