“This hotel is in need of some serious TLC. Good location and the cooked breakfast was good for £12.50. Shower was dire and the room was very warm. When we asked if we could have fan we were told there was one in the wardrobe, that was a fan heater and made more noise than it did move air. With the windows open it was survivable if a bit loud in the room. The bed was nice and comfortable. We understand that it’s an old building so no complaints on the creaky floor and winding corridors but the...

“Practical hotel. Although it's an older hotel, it's well taken care of. Rooms are spacious and is walking distance to Gatwick Airport South. Water is provided in the room.”

“Th Leicester Inn is a very old listed property and as such has some wonderful aspects giving it great character. Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb.”

“The room was lovely. We couldn't open 2 of the windows so it was an incredibly stuffy night. There was a fan provided but opening the windows would have been a better option. A small thing really.”

“We’re so glad we decided to stay here instead of some chain hotel! It had so much character & charm. Our room was large & very comfortable. The bathroom was also large & beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds could use a little TLC (my husband was a landscaper 😉) but they were beautiful nonetheless. There was a wonderful Pub within walking distance where the food & atmosphere was wonderful! Perfect ending to our European vacation. Thank you 😊”

“Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. ”
