“I've stayed t the Covered Bridge a few years ago and had a good experience -- but it seems to be in a downward spiral now. There were multiple spots of Black Mold on the bathroom ceiling and cockroaches running around in the bathroom. There was one stained and worn chair in the room and two damaged lamps. It seems like much or most of the Covered Wagon's current business is providing shelter to unhoused individuals. This is not a problem in and of itself if they maintained the facility in a...

“Smoke detector missing. Toilet seat loose. Lights too dim. No bar soap at the sink. Body wash and conditioner bottle in the bathroom were empty.”

“Smoke alarm randomly started beeping at 5am until around 6:15 got not apparent reason. I walked into main office to find nobody there I decided to pick customer phone at counter but got no response... Later at checkout counter assistant claimed that I never responded to his phone answer.... I'm deeply not satisfied.”

“This was a hidden gem. It was so clean and quiet. Definitely a place for peace and quiet. Rooms were super clean and the attention to detail was amazing. Will definitely be back.”

“Room had duct tape on the floor holding the carpet down, bathroom door had holes in it where hooks use to be, room was damp and musty, chair was in disrepair, call from front desk at 11pm stating smoking was occuring in the room (malfunctioning fire protection equipment), outlets intermittently worked.”

“I was thrilled with the location. Very short walk into town, and had plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze by just using codes to the doors. My first impression walking into the building was that it smelled VERY clean. My room was spotless, bright and charming. I stayed in Room #8, and it was the perfect size for a single or a couple. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a blow dryer, but that is a VERY minor mark. 5 stars all around, and will stay here again!”

“The continental breakfast was good - a variety of fresh baked goods, yogurts, fresh fruits, granola, teas, and the coffee was excellent! It would have been nice to enjoy a hot breakfast on the cold and gloomy morning that we were there, though. We enjoyed meeting our friendly host, Joe, and had a nice conversation with him as he explained the history of the property and some future kitchen renovations he has in the works. Parking was no problem - plenty of space, well-lit, felt absloutely...
