“The room was big and very clean, with a big bathroom, I really appreciated the room! We had dinner in the pub and it was one of the best of our holiday! Also the breakfast was very good and big. I really recommend this place. ”

“This is a charming country house and everyone was amazing. We enjoyed a walk around the property and the food was spot on. You can’t go wrong staying here if in the neighborhood. If you’re also familiar wrote ceramics, you’ll find several ships about 10-15 mins away that is a great place to browse and shop. ”

The service, mostly 20 somethings, didn’t come with much of a smile which seems normal these days unless they are well trained by the older generation who realise what service means. “Beautiful room nice and warm and products provided. Arrived just before they stopped serving food but the staff were very helpful and delicious meals were served up. The bed was super comfy. Breakfast was really nice and freshly cooked and hwalthy ootions too”

“The room was large, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. Fantastic waitress. A great place to stay. ”

“The room was clean but the bed was hard and you needed binoculars to see the TV. We stayed in Kent hall and it seemed like an old office block that has been turned into bedrooms. Breakfast wasn't that great sausages and bacon were overcooked and dry. The parking was not that great either.”

“Impressive in arrival this countryside hotel and conference centre at first glance appeals. There is also ample parking. Many hotels allow early check in if one arrives ahead of check in time. Moat House staff were less accommodating and seemed to have a hard and fast rule. However, when we sat in the lobby with our suitcases and backpacks half an hour ahead of check in time, they quickly and pleasantly attended to us.
