“My stay here was pretty good, I just had a really strange encounter with one of the owners upon check out when she practically yelled at me to bring her my key (I left it in the door as generally there was no staff around to give it to). She could’ve politely said she didn’t want to climb the stairs and I would’ve happily got it, but the way she spoke to me was really out of nowhere and odd and so I didn’t rebook. “This hotel is located outside the old town - just under 10 mins away. The street is quiet but actually has two bakeries, a bar and small food shops. This side of the city seemed a bit quieter which we didn’t mind. It was easy to get everywhere by tuk tuk (usual rate 150 THB). Our room was on the top floor (3rd) and had a nice view. “The whole place has a vintage theme, from the lobby to the rooms which gives it so much charm. The location is great, just outside the Old City, so it’s quiet at night but still close enough to walk to everything easily. The only thing to note is that there’s no elevator, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up the stairs.”
