“We loved our stay at Te Waonui. The staff were friendly and engaging immediately making us feel comfortable and welcome. The pre-fixed 5 course dinner was a fantastic deal and the quality of the food was excellent. The rooms are lovely and it is nice to have a pleasant view each morning when awaking. “We had a lovely stay at the Westwood Lodge on the 22nd - 24th December. The lodge was huge, spotless, and very cosy with the log timber walls, very alpine! We were greeted by a super friendly hostess who was warm and welcoming and gave brilliant recommendations. We were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast we received which was delicious!! Hot fresh eggs and all the usual continental sides and additions. “Very welcoming! We stayed in a private ensuite room and it was clean and comfortable. The water pressure of the shower was amazing. Didn't get a chance to partake in the free soup unfortunately but it's super cool that they offer that. Not sure if we'll be in Franz Josef again anytime soon, but would definitely book here again!”
