“There are no glaring negatives to this property for us. The room was smaller than expected, but the bathroom was large. The staff seemed easily distracted. When we checked in the staff seemed to be in need of a big cup of coffee. When we were trying to check out the man was on his cell phone. We thought it might be a business call until he ended it with a hearty "later dude." We waited over 4 minutes for him to finish his call. Not the end of the world, but it wasn't what we expected. “Thank goodness the room floors are hardwood because the carpet in the hallways was badly stained everywhere and not well maintained. The staff was nice/friendly but I would likely pay a bit more just to stay in a place that is much cleaner.”

“Quaint, hidden gem in Elkhart. Corner Bar, plus rooftop bar. For anyone visiting Elkhart and doesn’t want the standard chain feel, this is the place.”

“Beds were clean and made handing cap parking was right out front of room.”

“Absolutely disgusting hotel. Terrible neighborhood. They dont even have a front desk clerk...they literally outsourced it to India. You check in through a machine with an Indian dude on camera who was impossible to understand. 100% the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.”

“The room was clean and the lady at the front desk was helpful the first night. There was rarely someone at the front desk, tho. However, the room had some maintenence issues. There was tiling in the bathroom that was very sloppily repaired; there was a big patch of peeled/missing paint on the walls; the interior of the closet was missing a panel or mirror or something. There was no hair dryer. I know the power outage was not your fault, but we did not get breakfast and that was a bummer.”

“Staff was welcoming and pleasant. The room was set up well and what we needed for our duration. Great for longer stays with small cook top and full refrigerator. Friendly for the pups too.”

“Accidentally booked my room a week later than I needed. Realized it 5 minutes after I booked it. They wouldn’t allow me a refund or even to change to a different date. Staff was unhelpful and Expedia was just as unhelpful. To say they couldn’t change it even though I called them 5 minutes later is a joke. Will never stay at a Hampton inn again. They are a scam and unhelpful”
