“This was a perfect spot for my first solo trip to Puerto Rico. It’s a very short walk to seven seas beach. Plenty of people watching and food. If you want to escape the crowd, just keep walking down the beach maybe 5-10min walk along the shore. The condo is clean and the host responded right away when I had questions. I had an amazing visit and cannot wait to come back. ”

“The hotel is clean and most staff are polite and helpful. The young man who checked us in [around midnight] was pretty rude. Maybe a bad day. The biggest problem was our room had no hot water. We reported that the next morning and was told someone from maint. would look into it. He got us hot water in the bathroom sink, but not the shower. We showered for 2 days with cold water. When we asked for a new room we were told they were fully booked! Not true. Actually, we found they had no room with 2...

“Great little boutique hotel, close to the La Jolla kiosk and beaches”

“I picked the Surfing Turtle based upon positive reviews but I definitely didn’t have a good experience. I guess someone has to draw the short straw. That was me - my room faced the very BUSY and LOUD road that was about 4 feet from the door. The loud music from nearby clubs went on late into the night. I have stayed in busy and noisy hotels all over and have never had to resort to the earplugs that were left in the nightstand. The Google Map link sent to me wouldn’t work which created...
