“The rooms are advertised as luxury but in my single room there wasn’t a wardrobe or any coat hangers just a cluster of about three hooks hinged together. The food in the Henry VIII restaurant left a lot to be desired only ate the evening meal there on one occasion out of a 4 night stay, the fish and chips were very fatty and the chips were nearly black. “We had such a lovely stay at this wonderful B&B. Comfy bed and the room was well equipped with tea and coffee, biscuits, water etc. We had no trouble parking. Breakfast was first class. ”

“Disappointing one night stop over. Its more of a business traveller, conference & private events venue than a country house hotel. Suite 15 is directly opposite the kitchen extractor fan which is on from before 5.00am until the kitchen closes at night & can easily be heard in the room. The room only had one bedside table & lamp, the glazed entrance is fitted with opaque glass & is the only window so there is no view. If you could see out you would be looking at the car park.
