“This hotel is located right on the Douro, in a picturesque spot. There's a parking area right outside. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel claims to be four star; it may have been once but it no longer is. The rooms are spartan. A 20" tv from the 2000s. No amenities whatsoever in the bathroom, which had a broken wall shower and between one and three lights randomly working, depending on I know what. I had to move furniture to find the only single wall outlet close to the bed....

“The accommodation was fantastic. It had a wonderful atmosphere, was beautifully maintained, featured a lovely swimming pool, and was peacefully located with breathtaking views over the vineyards. The breakfast was truly excellent. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we would have loved to stay longer. Overall: 10 out of 10 – it hardly gets any better! Outstanding value for money!”

“Quel endroit incroyable au paysage à faire rêver. Nous avons tout aimé! Le personnel était accueillant et les lieux sont d’une très grande propreté. La piscine était aussi parfaite ainsi que le copieux déjeuner servi directement à notre chambre pour la prendre sur notre terrasse. J’y retournerais sans hésiter!”
