“Though the decor was nice the place didn't function well. The toilet gurgled, the kitchen sink drained extremely slow and the furniture was extremely uncomfortable. The couch cushion was so worn you didn't feel it, you felt the frame. The beds were hard. The fridge is small, like a dorm room fridge. From the post it seemed you were closer to the water than you are. We booked for 2 nights and left after 1 knowing we wouldn't get a refund. We booked hoping to make it a fishing weekend so after...

“It was cozy and delightful! ”

“The property was beautiful and the hot tub was great. On top of that, the beach is a private little thing, only for certain residents in that area. There's a Putt putt place about half an hour out that's also really cool and fun. I will say, it's a little bit smaller than I expected (fully a me thing) and, if you wanted to sleep all 8 people, you would probably have to bring your own air mattress or two. It really depends on people's willingness to share beds. All in all, it's a great place to...

“Had a nice stay at the Eagle's Nest. The view of the lake was breathtaking. Very close to stores and recreational areas. During my time there, I went to the Sanford Historical Museum before check-in, walked along the Pere Marquette Rail Trail, and mostly relaxed at the cottage watching and listening to nature. Also, I saw an otter/gopher near the end of the lawn strip and got close enough to see its head pop out of the burrow. Anyway it was a nice, relaxing getaway trip and hope to come back...

“10 out of 10! Husband and I and the girls (doggos) came up for the weekend. We always look for a cabin in the woods with no neighbors. This place exceeded our expectations. The pictures in the listing do not do it justice! We were definitely surprised with the above garage gameroom. Our kids would have loved all the games they had. (Pool table, air hockey, Pac-Man and Projector screen for movie nights) The girls spent all day swimming in the little pond they had out back and running wild through...

“We had a great time celebrating my granddaughter’s 10 birthday. This was a awesome choice very clean cozy and the owner is awesome. Very helpful. I would love to come back here again. Highly recommend.”

“The place was lovely, quaint and comfortable. The view and access to the lake was perfect! We will definitely come back!Leslie”

“The cabin was just fine. 1br main level, another br is up in the loft. We only stayed 2 nights, but packed in a lot including visiting Dow botanical gardens, the Tridge, a brewery , the casino, and of coarse Sammy Hagar was excellent. The host, Michelle was excellent with communication and overall was a great stay and place to stay. I’d recommend this place if staying in Mt Pleasant or Midland.”
