Google says this place is permanently closed so that’s also weird. Overall room was clean but definitely looked like they were still remodeling. No dishes but stove and everything in room also weird usually when we stay anywhere with a stove there’s at least plates and silverware. ”

The pool was very cold, the hot tub was only half filled with water and the shower kept going from warm to cool. But the worst issue was that the walls and floors were paper thin. “I was in town for a concert and chose this property across the river from the downtown core - a short walk away - as the parking was free. A free shuttle to the venue (and pick up afterwards) was a bonus as the weather was dubious. I prepaid for the breakfast buffet which was standard fare but hot and convenient. Our server was lovely. “My husband and I decided to stay the night at the Grand Amway Hotel in Grand Rapids to celebrate his birthday. We selected a room on the 24th floor.
