“We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. ”

“The studio lodge was amazing. Hot tub was ready to go when we arrived and the lodge had everything we needed. Food in the Baiting House was superb, even though the a la carte menu wasn't available on Monday/Tuesday, and breakfast was delicious. ”

“We had the hayloft that could sleep 3 but was a win for us as a couple. It was in a out building, with easy access to the garden, bar and dining areas, but was a bit difficult to get suitcases over the gravel pathway. Very quiet, lots of space and windows to open. The restaurant meal and breakfast was fabulous.”

We initially had an issue with the pillows and duvet as my husband is allergic to feathers, but we were allocated a different room to resolve this. The staff member on duty for breakfast was super friendly, and the food was delicious. Overall, a perfect weekend break.”

Breakfast was freshly cooked and very good value at £9.85. Beer was also very good and a great selection. Staff were really friendly and happy to have a natter. Look forward to returning next year!”

Gratitude to the staff who seated us at a large round table which was perfect for us to exchange our many memories and celebrate our grandparents who celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary there back in 1973 and the bride and groom who held their reception there in 1971! We were even escorted to the original steps where all the group pictures were...

Only thing missing was a curtain/blind for the small bathroom window but other than that perfect.
