“We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. ”

“Very polite friendly staff, great food and clean comfy room. The room was not short on tea, coffee milk and sugar which you do not see a lot of nowadays in other hotels which was great to see.”

“An absolute gem. Such a beautiful location and building. I met Anna who showed me the room and the grounds, she was absolutely lovely. Could not recommend this place more, everything was perfect.”

“Our room, Croft was a small suite. Very clean with ensuite and small fridge. Ideal. Breakfast was very tasty. We did not have an evening meal there.”

“Loved the mood of the place, middle of nowhere in the midst of some beautiful countryside. Gardens were top notch but weather sadly precluded their use. Staff were helpful and room spotless. Only slight downer is that the shower was scalding. Could not get cold water into the shower. Only there for 1 night so not a big deal. Parking easy and EV charger useful. Breakfast was tasty and well presented. Much to like about the Manor. 👍Recommended.”

“Bath/shower very cramped but plenty of hot water. We overslept so did not have breakfast but had tea & coffee in the room. Bed large and very comfy. We just needed a place to sleep and shower. This more than fitted the bill. ”

“the breakfast wasn't the best to be honest. my smoked salmon beneath a lovely egg was not fresh and was browning at the edges.”

“Our 3rd visit in just over 12 months, we love it here. When the suns out it’s even better, being able to sit and have a drink in the manicured gardens. Of course the highlight is the food, simply superb, a little pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.”

“The full cooked breakfast was amazing, i couldn't fault it, single room was small but clean and comfy. very friendly owners , and 2 lovely dogs who came to greet me. Overall i enjoyed my stay, and if im ever back in the area i would definately stay again. ”

“The room was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Parking was in front of the hotel, off the main street. The village had a few shops and a large town nearby. The hotel has a river at the bottom of the grounds which was lovely to sit near.”

“A lovely old world charm about the hotel. Very nice, spacious room, excellent staff & fantastic location in the heart of Ludlow. On- site parking available which was also great. ”
