“I booked this hotel through Expedia because of the good summarized reviews, but it was a disaster. When we arrived, there was no welcome from the staff, and they were incredibly rude. To make things worse, the elevator was not working properly, so we had to carry all our heavy bags up the stairs ourselves. The room was also very dirty. I will never stay here again.”

“The property is very clean, beautiful and well refurbished and right in the heart of Marlow. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food itself (breakfast) was a bit poor but OK. We didn't have any hot water to take a shower unfortunately but stayed only 1 night anyway. The room itself which was the only one available during booking was very very snug and air circulation at night made a bit stuffy but we would visit again , hopefully get a bigger room and hot water.”

“Wonderful stay for the summer with river views and amazing terrace. So many peaceful places to sit and watch the river in the grounds. The rooms were lovely - spacious, big bed and bathrooms and the extra amenities were very appreciated. Its a stunning setting for a summer break.”

“Great location for Legoland, city centre and motorway. Room was cleanand comfortable, great breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Overall good value, but internet is a tad slow and there is no free hotel parking as wrongly shown on Expedia. There is a council car park, free from 9pm to 9am, easy to find space, but need to be careful with timings”

“We just returned from staying a night at The Langley. What a wonderful stay it was. The staff from reception to the housekeeping were so friendly and courteous and the room was spotless. The spa, gym, pool and steam room were superb too. We had dinner there and the waiters and waiting staff were very attentive and it was first class service. “We stayed at Hampden Apartments as a family of four (2 adults and 2 children). The only positive aspect of our stay was the location, which was excellent and very convenient. Unfortunately, everything else fell well below expectations. Communication from the host was virtually non-existent. Despite the listing stating that check-in instructions would be sent by email, I received nothing after booking and none of my messages through Expedia or calls to the provided mobile number were answered....

The use of a guest lounge with tea, coffee and water was a bonus, although provisions hadn’t been topped up, nor the area tidied when we used it in the evening.
