“The property as a whole was in poor condition and was not clean. The food was not very nice. It appeared to be from a food service company, just thawed, cooked and served. It is clear that the premises had not been subjected to a health and safety impact assessment. For example, the showers were in the bath and no non-slip mats were provided. “Location was good , bed clean other than that dreadful. Carpet was filthy , no WiFi even though it said free WiFi , no hot water for the 2 days, bacon run out at breakfast, even thought was 9.15am no yoghurts , the tables were dirty and very sticky , whole place needs a complete re vamp, out dated , dirty , sadly won’t be returning”

“This hotel does not have staff as you do a self check in so it is not possible to rate this part of the survey. The hotel offers no amenities, however there is a kettle and tea/coffee provided . The room was perfectly fine for one night. Comfortable and clean although needs updating and there was a bleach stain on the carpet. The room was unbearably hot. A fan was provided but it was not affective in the size of the room so maybe worth the hotel provided a second fan. Other than that not a bad...

“Stayed at the Fox and Goose for 5 days. Looked after by the staff at all times. Very comfortable room which was serviced daily. The food was excellent with good sized meals which were served by very pleasant staff. Will definitely stay there again.”
