“We've been to Auburn multiple times but this was our first time staying at Foothills and it will now be our new spot to stay. The price is affordable and the location is great. We arrived Friday night and got checked in by Glenn who was super friendly and super helpful. He gave us history of the motel and let us know about all the amenities offered such as pool, ice machine, lounge chairs by the firepit and also informed us we can go to the bowling alley where they have food and a bar. “I recently stayed here for several nights and overall had a positive experience. Things didn't start out that way, as the first room I was assigned was really grim. There was an awful smell coming from the carpet (similar to wet dog) and permeated the entire space and bathroom. In addition, the toilet was running and didn't have a functioning flush. I was really hesitant to approach the front desk and complain, as am usually not a picky or confrontational person. However, I had nothing to lose...
