“Pretty decent for the price, inside’s nicer than the outside ”

“Well I say the staff have been excellent to work with and for us they've been very helpful and very kind everyday they check and ask us however accommodations are and if they can help us with anything so as we're staying at the hotel I wouldn't recommend it to about anyone it's a great convenient place the rooms are comfortable and up to date”

“yes good exept didnt have any grits broken toilet seat shoulve been replaced before our visit but was resolved clean room exept forgot to mention smelled like faint odor of ciggaretes when was supposed to be non smoking and please check the ac vents inside needs cleaning out ”

“The facilities were nice. Although the floor indicated it was no smoking it unfortunately still smelled if smoke. However, my room did not. It was clean, filled with clean towels, linens, etc. The breakfast was good. And staff was friendly and professional. Definitely would stay again. ”

“On the main drag, 1/2 mi from US221 S toward Asheville, about a mile from US441 east to the NC piedmont. I thought the Rhodes was great. Loved the way the room was trimmed out, suited me perfectly. You gotta want something a little different to enjoy the place; some will find the hiker chic a tad underwhelming. Thought the lobby was wonderful, the bar and restaurant look nice, didn't get a chance to eat there. Somebody took an old motor lodge from the postwar boom and updated it very well....
