“Just a 5 minute walk into Shrewsbury centre. Ample parking in a quiet street. Check in process was simple. Room was very clean with lots of little extras, tea, coffee, water, snacks. Quirky interesting decor but clearly attention to detail throughout. Bathroom/shower very clean and comfy bed, slept right through. Would definitely recommend, 9/10.”

“A lovely place to stay with genuinely attentive and kind staff who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and very family-friendly — even the other guests were friendly, which added to the experience. It felt comfortable and homely, and I’d happily stay again.”

“Room was right next to an outdoor bar where they played loud music till 11pm at night. Literally impossible to sleep until it all shut down. Would avoid staying again.”

“Although the hotel facilities were good and the location was very central, our room was above the bar which was a club on Saturday night. The music was really loud till midnight. Although the web site mentioned that they had a DJ, we hadn't expected to be right above it.”

“Room was okay but small. The mattress was amazingly comfortable albeit the wooden bed frame was a little creaky. The walls are paper thin and the doors closing and opening extremely noisy so not as restful a break as the location demands”

“The property was great. My party really enjoyed it. The only issue is that it was very cold when we arrived. I would suggest in winter having the heat on several hours prior to guest arrival. Otherwise, a great experience. ”

“Had a great stay here, it had everything from great food , friendly staff and a well equipped gym and pool. To top it off for us, it’s dog friendly too! All the staff were super helpful and attentive to our needs, from reception to bar and gym staff. Everyone made us feel so welcome, even the gym members. This will be a regular stop off for us whilst visiting my daughter in Liverpool. All I can say is Thank you . Lisa, Lee and Finley x”
