Breathtaking Pike's Peak View from Adorable Mountain Cabin

A perfect mountain cabin located on top of the world! At just under 9,400 ft elevation, this quaint and cute home is perfect for anniversaries, birthday celebrations, or a nice weekend getaway. Located just 20 minutes from Woodland Park, CO where you can eat, shop local stores and experience Colorado. Also 15 minutes from Historic Cripple Creek! Lots of local places to hike and explore all the mountains have to offer! Right at an hour away from heading West to Buena Vista and the hot springs! The cabin is located off scenic HWY 67 in a neighborhood with maintained roads. You do not need a 4x4 vehicle to access the home. Come and stay at our cabin and see what it feels like to be on top of the world!

It was perfect! The cabin was cozy & had everything we needed. The location is close to beautiful hiking trails ranging from easy to hard. The views are breathtaking….wherever you look! And it is silent but for the wind and the birds. You won’t want to leave!

I can't even begin to explain how perfect this cabin and stay was! My fiancé (now husband) & I rented this little cabin as our place to land while in Colorado to get married! I spent a good amount of time searching Vrbo and competitor's websites looking for the perfect place because I'm rather picky, and was thrilled to come across this listing. I knew I made the right decision upon arrival when we walked in and the cabin actually looked lived in, in the best possible way! The live plants I saw in the windows as soon as we pulled into the driveway was my first green flag, along with the decor, pictures on the walls and fridge, and the overall coziness of the home. The view was absolutely stunning, and we loved that we were tucked away from everyone else. We also really enjoyed watching the chipmunks and Steller's Jays come and go from their feeding station, and ended up running to town to get more seed to refill it during our stay! We were also lucky enought to see a momma fox and her kits before we left as well! We were sad to leave, but I am positive we will be visiting again in the future, and when we do, I know that it will feel like coming home!!

My wife, son and I absolutely loved the cabin. The location is fantastic, the views are incredible and the hosts were lovely to work with. This was a favorite VRBO for sure. The house has literally everything you could ask for ready to go and the beds were really comfortable. We can't wait to come back!
A Stellars Jay, there are many at this cabin and a ton of different birds as well.

This charming cabin was just as described. Comfortable and peaceful in a beautiful location. We saw 3 young fox in the neighborhood and a deer strolling the property. Watching the clouds dance over and across Pikes Peak while enjoying coffee on the porch was a favorite activity.

This was all that we hoped for. The drive to the cabin was beautiful and had me taking pictures of all the fall foliage. Driving up the driveway path, I could feel the excitement of the views that did not disappoint!! Clean cabin, clean fluffy towels, the gas fireplace, comfy sofas and the bed were all just perfect! Easy drives to Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, Manitou and Garden of the Gods. The morning view with fresh coffee and our new chipmunk friends… this was a trip we won’t forget and can’t wait to book again!!

My husband and I stayed here while visiting Colorado for a week. It was very nice and relaxing! Elissa was very responsive with our questions which made our stay even more pleasant. The home was very clean and comfortable. The views from the cabin were beautiful!!

The cabin is gorgeous as well as thoughtfully stocked. Comfortable bed and furnishings. We wanted a staycation weekend away to celebrate our ten year anniversary and hide from our kiddos. This cabin exceeded our expectations. The views are breathtaking. Very quiet neighborhood with cabins layered up and down hills and cliffs. Very convenient location, north of Cripple Creek. Easy access to nearby tourist sites, however, for us the perfect secluded hideaway an hour from our home in North Colorado Springs. Cozy gas fireplace, beautiful kitchen with every comfort of home, coffee on the front patio overlooking the mountains, dancing under the stars. We're already planning to return this Winter to hide out again.

Photos truly don’t do this property justice, it looks amazing in the photos and absolutely breathtaking in person. We were truly pleased with our stay here at Neon Moon Cabin, we will definitely recommend anyone looking for an amazing view and also be secluded from others, this is a perfect fit!

My husband and I were able to stay for a few days in July while our kids were at camp nearby. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for cooking. We loved the mattress and even had to look to see what kind it was! The view out the front is just incredible, pictures don't do it justice. We are already thinking of coming back next summer!

Cozy, comfortable cabin with the most spectacular view of Pikes Peak. Very quiet place that seems to sit on top of the world. If you want a wonderful couple getaway, this is it!! Highly recommend!

Everything other reviewers have said about pictures not doing it justice is absolutely true. The view from the porch (which is shaded most of the day) was even more incredible than I expected. The neighborhood was so quiet that it felt like we had this amazing view all to ourselves. The cabin itself was well stocked and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. I’m a full time manual wheelchair user and this was an especially magical experience for me because it is the first time I’ve found a short term rental property in the mountains that was ‘wheelchair friendly’ - meaning no steps to get in and interior doors at least 28 inches wide. The property owners were also amazing- answering all my questions immediately. My husband and I are looking forward to coming back again.
