My room did not have a remote for the
TV. I made the front desk aware of this around 4 PM, and then reminded them a couple more times. I went to front desk at 7:20, and front desk clerk acted like it had slipped his mind. He went through a drawer of remotes, trying to find the correct one and one with batteries. He went to my room and programmed remote, only to discover that volume did not work, and that the only way to hear TV was to sit in a chair less than 4 feet from TV. He offered to move me to another room, which I did not want to do at 7:30 PM. At around 10 PM, I wanted to take a jacuzzi, only to discover the jacuzzi function of the tub did not work. I wasn't going to make a deal of it then, as it took 3 1/2 hours to get a remote for the TV. I went to leave at 7 in the morning, and I took luggage to car, and came back to get my cooler and take my meds in the room, only to find my key did not work in door, and had to return to front desk to have it reprogrammed. Finally, this was second year in a row I stayed here for college alumni weekend, and second year in a row that the pool was not available, something to do with pool pump. I made front desk clerk aware of all these problems upon checkout, but no attempt was made to satisfy me. I would think that paying a premium price for a jacuzzi room, in a facility with a pool, on a weekend with premium prices for alumni weekend; that some type of refund would be offered. Not satisfied with room or service.
