Hotel a Columbus Junction

“I would not stay here again. It’s one of those places that was nice at one point until a certain ethnic family bought it and is running it to the ground. We paid for 4 people, got 2 towels. The couch had some major stains in it and looked like it was from a 70s garage sale. The carpet was sticky. The bathroom floor was dirty. The sheets felt sticky. The room was damp and had an odor. “This stay was very good. The staff was very nice and helpful. We swam in the pool every day and it was a good temperature and clean. The breakfast was good and always being refilled with fresh food. If I had two things to say it would be that the breakfast was always the same thing. It would be nice if they change it up a little but I guess this probably does not matter for most people who are only staying the one night. “Good selection for breakfast, but limited area for seating. The bathroom was not very clean. Grime in the corners, toilet was not wiped down very well, and bathtub had dirt ring on the bottom. The bed was comfortable and we did get a good night's sleep.”

“The room appeared clean when I entered. The room was very damp, most likely from the A/C running and set to a low temperature. I had a room with two queen beds; The bed I chose to sleep in was closest to the window. Once I got into the bed I noticed a strong body odor. I couldn't tell if the odor as from the sheets or in the mattress. I changed to the other bed, and it appeared to be ok.”
