• A smartphone is provided for communication with the staff, but we didn’t receive a response when we sent a question at night.
• The latest check-in time is 10:00 PM, which is not very traveler-friendly. That said, the staff did agree to wait for us when we called to ask about checking in at 10:30 PM.”

The bread was excellent, too. Dinner was the same both nights, but again very good, the fish dish being especially delicious.
Also, as others have noted, the room was very small and lacked space for our suitcases. The bathroom was quite possibly the smallest we have ever experienced in Japan - and we lived in Japan...

"L'hotel è stupendo, curato in ogni dettaglio. La colazione è un esperienza, la consiglio se vi piace il salato al risveglio. Unica pecca il bagno era veramente piccolo e non c'era la doccia (stanza stanza standard), ma credo sia caratteristica di alcuni hotel in Giappone, gli Onsen compensano questa mancanza. Per quanto abbiamo avuto modo di vedere è un hotel di classe alta scelto per lo più dai locali, quindi rispetta le usanze. "
