Had problems for my wife and I

We were put in the Lido area, a 10 minute, outside walk from the lobby, which was extremely difficult, especially for my wife, who is handicapped. We first asked for a room with just a shower, but was told that it was down two flights of stairs outside, which is not possible for her. The bathtub in our room 170, did NOT have HANDRAILS, which made it very dangerous each time she took a shower...a bath would have been impossible. When I mentioned this to someone at the desk, he said that only the "BETTER ROOMS" have Handrails. I paid $779.85 for three nights...one would think we'd be getting a good room.
As for myself, I was walking in the Lido area towards our room, and brushed against an upstairs, rusty rail, which made a deep gash across the top of my hand. A gardener, and a person coming out of his room, saw this and advised I better compress it with a wash cloth. The man in the room handed me a large band aid to put on afterwards. Later, I called the manager, Christine, who was very nice to come over and see what had happened. When I took her to the rail, someone had already smoothed the metal edges down.
Needless to say, we were very disappointed in our stay at the Hyatt Regency!
