You don't always get what you paid for

We booked a 1 room, 2 queen beds and was given a king bed because the hotel overbooked its rooms. The concierge rep lied and said Hotels.com reserved a king bed and because I booked at Hotels.com and I am not a club member, my room reservation is not guaranteed. I had to call Hotels.com to help me resolve this issue (on the phone for 1 hour with the hotel manager and Hotels.com). Manager finally gave us a room with 2 queen beds, but the bathroom tub was clogged, one person showered with water up to hi knees. I called concierge and they didn't have a plunger or maintenance staff to help. So the concierge representative gave us a room to only shower in. He said someone will come to fix the tub in the morning but no one came. The manager compensated us with complimentary breakfast, which was not worth all the trouble we had to go through. Plus the jacuzzi was not working. Worst experience I have ever had. Never coming back.
