Poor ergonomics in design and service

Warning: airport shuttle stops 10:30 PM, which they don't tell you unless you ask. Not sure how early in AM it starts running.
First thing we noticed was dark colors in décor, which makes it look dingy. Then we started stubbing our toes on the bed frame, which has sharp corners and is oversized so it extends a couple of inches out beyond the mattress dimensions. Almost had to go to emergency room with one really bad toe injury. The bed is too close to the closet; could easily have installed it a couple of inches over but they didn't, so the closet doors just barely open. They don't provide a pad & pen by the phone or desk. Toilet seat was broken.
Hallway signage not very good; we even saw experienced flight attendants have trouble finding their rooms.
In restaurant, you don't get a napkin or spoon with your coffee. One of the tables was so tippy that people spilled half their meal.
On the plus side, nightly rate was a good value. Pool & Jacuzzi very nice (& properly heated), food in restaurant tasty & reasonably priced. Convenient location, safe neighborhood. Staff friendly, just not always efficient or effective.
