"This apartment was well situated to easily walk through Chablis. It was very clean and had good amenities. No breakfast is served; but we picked up berries, yogurt the night before, and walked to get baguette/pastries in the morning, as the French do! This was a very quiet place to stay, despite being on a main road in town. This is definitely a place to stay! "

"Was very tranquil. During our stay very hot, we were offered air conditioning which we declined as meant more to pay and we were on a budget. I didn't realise towels not included, I don't think web site made it clear. Facilities good but shower very small for my husband who is disabled. "Warm cosy and comfortable property with 'character' and in a good location for visiting Vézelay and area. Renovated and modernised inside to a good standard, with pleasant outdoor seating areas. Bring your own teapot if you need one! A useful bread van comes 3 times a week with baguettes. Nearest village shops (in St Père) are about a 10 minute drive. Neither our 'school' French nor the owners' English was good so the booking process via the web site emails wasn't easy. The whole booking process...

"Beautiful, comfortable apartment in a converted barn is a hidden gem in a fabulous natural setting! We absolutely loved the balcony watching the birds during the day & bats at dusk! There is plenty to see & do in the area but we always loved returning to our balcony with a glass of wine! Tracey & Laurent were the perfect hosts always there to help or advise but unintrusive & respectful! We will definitely return!"
