Guest house a Cox's Bazar

“Our stay at Mermaid Eco Resort was nowhere near a plain sailing. I booked a Studio room called LAKE OSHO. We were visiting during the late monsoon & it was drizzling all day. There was no electricity (because of a phase to ground fault of local electrical line) for a prolonged time from the get go. Even after the power was restored, it didn’t remain seamless. The generator backup was laughable & I might be wrong but didn’t see it in action. The ventilation fan of the washroom was inoperable....

“It was a wonderful experience overall. The staff were very kind, the food was excellent (though expensive, which we expected for Cox’s Bazar), and we appreciated the free car service.
