Beach location is a huge plus, new owner is installing upgrades to improve the customer experience. Good parking. Rooms are showing their age and signs of nostalgia, but simple, clean and cozy. “The hallways and stairs have an odor to them, stairs are worse. The room appeared clean but there was dirt or sand already on the sheets. We asked for room service twice with no luck. They begrudgingly game me new sheets and towels at front desk. We also had a broken towel rack and stained towels. There is a sign in bathroom stating that stained towels will be charged to the room. We alerted the front desk and showed them pictures to ensure we did not get charged for them. Front desk tells you...

“Being surrounded by the redwoods was wonderful. The property itself was very basic. No TV, no internet, no cell service. The bed was very uncomfortable and the sofa had lost it's springs. It was very private, quiet and the cabins are spaced far enough apart.”
