The right place for a one night stay. Close to the ferry pier and the fish market.
The building is old without lift, reception in the pub at ground floor.
The room has everything you need in a tiny space. Windows haven't been renewed, very hard to open.
Usb plugs by the bed are a smart idea but unfortunately not working.
I asked for luggage deposit next morning as I was on a day tour (like 80% of tourists in Oban) but I wasn't allowed due to a private event.
Overall a good value for money if you look for an essential stay.

"Lovely room with a balcony and view over the locks. Good fish restaurant and excellent breakfast. Staff ok for the evening meal. Very good for breakfast. Pet friendly."

"Really run down. In our room, the shower attachment distinegrated, the bathroom fan did not work, the toilet seat was broken, the electric face plate for the towel rail was smashed, the bathroom door had had 2 big holes filled, the carpet was stained.
