“Per Expedia I chose the option to pay at property. Upon arrival my friend whom I made the reservation for (with my card) was not allowed to check in or substitute his card for payment as we usually do. They insisted upon taking my driver's license and entering info from it (why?), charged my card for the room and also charged a "surcharge" in case of damage to maybe get refunded later. “After a long day of travel, o needed a clean & quiet place to sleep & hopefully have a meal. Check-in was unclear but ended up being in the bar. There was a packaged charcuterie board I could purchase, otherwise, I had to ask for directions for places to eat (no info in the room, unlike usual accommodations which supply that). I repeatedly asked for clearer directions reminding the bartender im not from around the area. Myself & another guest were next door to one another & the walls were...

“We didn't stay because the pool was closed becausw the health department closed it and that was the whole reason for the room. The guy said he wouldn't check me in and the money would be refunded. That has yet to happen. Would not recommend.”

“We had to switch rooms because our thermostat wasn’t working. The gal at the desk was awesome. Very accommodating. I used the fitness center. We had been on the road three days and it felt good to get some exercise. This was a new facility with superb amenities. We would definitely stay there again.”
