“Perfect bush stay. Thank you. I think the dining concept needs a re-think. Didn’t quite nail it. Otherwise, I really appreciated the advice from reception re things to do, heads up re booking national park passes online. The cabin was perfectly quiet, equipped, comfortable. Bit shabby, but fit for purpose. I’d ditch the “lease” type form on the table. People just want to come and relax and not worry about maintenance 😉”

“one downer was the fact the restaurant isn't open for dinner on a Saturday night, we had the weekend planned and dinner at this beautiful place was on the list, our fault for not looking properly? perhaps. we just assumed. luck of the draw with rooms, yes, all superior but some are better than others. needed to really look at the offerings and try to pick. saying that, we loved the room we were in it just wasn't the one in the photo we saw booking online. the dude at check-in and in the cellar...

“Kitchen, toilet and the room itself is very tidy and clean and smells good not musky or having old smell. Cuttleries, microwave, fridge are very clean. We can see the cupboards are well maintained and not even a single trace of roach or pest infestation which we have seen in other accomodations we have stayed with. Chexkin was very organised. Definitely highly recommended to anyone travelling and wanting to stay in the area.”
