“The staff is amazing here and work hard to make everyone feel happy and comfortable. As happens when a place is lived in after awhile though, things start to get wear and tear and build up some dirt. Typical hotel slight dirtiness & wear in the rooms, not as pristine as when it was first opened.”

“The room was spotless, colorful, and cozy. It was self check in (no staff) but host was very communicative via text messaging. The only drawback was false advertising on Hotels.com about free off street parking (“a rare gem”) but I mentioned this to the host and he’s looking into it. Highly recommend!”

“Tutto come da aspettative tranne che per la evidente inefficienza del servizio di colazione, a mio giudizio dipendente dal numero insufficiente di personale addetto. Cibi qualitativamente buoni ma tempi di attesa molto lunghi per cibi e bevande che, spesso, vengono portati anche non aderenti a quanto ordinato. Credo basti aumentare il personale dedicato ma se non lo si fa la colazione diventa un’avventura.”

“The room was clean and looked like the photos. The reception staff was pleasant. It was very quiet considering it’s in University City on Chestnut. I did not use the kitchen it it appeared to be stocked as listed. Free hot water/teabags/coffee/creamer etc in the lobby. I did use the washer/dryer and they worked perfectly. In the city to visit daughter and I’d definitely stay there again.”

“I had a positive experience here and found the other positive reviews to be valid. It was a well maintained property. New, clean appliances. All hotels have water saving faucets and shower heads, as does roost. That's the only negative I can speak of because I prefer stronger flow but I understand people are wasteful when staying in hotels. I'm glad I chose roost. It was worth the slightly higher price to have a separate bedroom and a full functional kitchen.”
