Chalet a Dalry

“Hotel bello, in stile retrò/marino. Posizione magnifica vicino alla spiaggia di Ayr. La nostra camera (4persone) era divisa in due stanze ricavate in un cortile di servizio. Stanza principale confortevole ma un po’ umida, l’altra fredda e con un divano letto non troppo comodo. ”

“My stay at the Mercure suited me perfectly. I was close to the train station so I could easily walk up & travel to Glasgow, and also have a pleasant stroll along the promenade. “Hotel tutto sommato carino , personale decisamente poco cortese ho dormito malissimo a causa del rumore delle finestre per via del vento.. la doccia era praticamente senza acqua con uno strano sistema di gestione elettrico che rendeva l’acqua o bollente o ghiacciata la colazione molto triste .. poco personale e decisamente una scelta molto contenuta ”

“Posto molto elegante, camera altrettanto elegante, spaziosa e con arredi ricercati. La doccia non è all'altezza del posto e anche il materasso troppo morbido. Colazione molto buona anche se poca la scelta della parte dolce ma giustamente in queste zone prediligono la parte salata. Lo consiglierei. ”

“The room was fairly small. The bed was very UNCOMFORTABLE. We couldn’t change rooms as they were sold out. However, it probably wouldn’t have made a difference. There’s no refrigerator or microwave in the room. There’s no ice machine. We went to the bar to get ice, and were given a small bucket with about 4cups of ice. The restaurant is on the expensive side, and not great options. Overall 2/5 experience.”

“The Mews buildings are nice inside, the bathroom maybe slightly letting it down. The food was excellent and the draught beer fresh and good quality. We found the staff helpful and polite. The only criticism we would have is that there is building work going on beside the Mews buildings, I think they are adding more buildings. We ended up in the building with a crane right outside our door. When we arrived we wanted to rest in the room for a little while but it was very noisy. The building...

“During the recent heat wave, my room was extremely warm and the fan they provided did not work to cool the room. They need to have fans that work because the upper rooms in the hotel were too hot. I checked out early.”
