“Cute concept, really clean-but they have a lot of kinks to work out. WiFi didn’t work. tv was impossible to figure out and barely worked once we did figure it out. Today’s staff was not friendly. Our room was tiny but well situated with lots of storage, great aesthetic BUT the a/c is FREEZING when it does turn on, and blows right into your face while you’re sleeping. “We were so pleasantly surprised about everything, especially the proprietors Dave and Joyce. This property is a typical, old 1950s Motor Inn on the old Camino Real. Make no mistake, it is not near the beach, but it has an intended “surfers vibe” and sits right on the Green line of the free San Clemente trolley line that runs every 15 minutes to the Califino Beach or the San Clemente pier and all points in between. “There was not a working bar abd it's across the highway 1 from the beach. The patio is not on the beach. The room was beautiful and the gas fireplace was nice”
