“We arrived kind of late but the staff were right on hand and very helpful. It was raining hard when we arrived so having parking right outside our door was wonderful. Continental breakfast was pretty good for a smaller hotel it was a pleasant surprise before we headed out for a long day of travel ahead of us. Would stay again.”

“I love this place, it’s older but has a lot of old-world charm and character. Don’t expect a Ritz-Carlton experience and you won’t be disappointed. Great location for a quick walk over to Daphne Street for some music and a cold beer. I stay here every time I drive to Florida, never been disappointed!”

The property is older, a painting, refurbishing would make this better! Definitely need new chair upholstery in common area, but I’d still stay here for a stay in charming Fairhope. Dinner at sunset Point Fly Creek marina great”

“All of the staff was very helpful and nice. The room we stayed in had holes or dips in the floor, bad ones too, right by the ac unit. We felt uneasy the whole time because we could feel the floor vibrating a lot. We felt uneasy because we can tell that the hotel will not be standing much longer. A lot of structural issues. None of the 4 floor was even. Literally the fist thing I seen when I put my key in my door to open it, there was a big water bug right in the floor as soon as you opened the...

“Room seemed to have mold on ceiling and a musty smell. Bugs found in bathroom. Bed disgustingly dirty (mattress pad and mattress) dust on lamps. Staff were great after having some perfume taken from our room while they emptied trash mid afternoon. We chose this hotel for convenience to a funeral we attended.”

“This hotel is stunning! So beautiful. Feels like you're in the French Quarter in NOLA without the outrageous prices! Rooms are spacious, beds and linen luxurious. I had one of my best sleeps ever in a hotel! In a great downtown location within walking distance to many trendy restaurants and shops. Not much in the way of breakfast so you may have to look elsewhere for that but otherwise perfect. Southern hospitality at its finest. Highly recommend!”
