I liked the useable outdoor space which was a bonus on a hot evening. Great venue. The breakfast - we had full English breakfast and it was delicious and of good quality. “Fabulous hotel. The food was first class, the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We stayed in one of the cottages. everything was excellent, clean and comfortable, all the facilities you would except were available. If I am being pedantic, the decor in the cottage was dated compared to the main hotel, but some may love the styling.

“Overall a very pleasant stay, it was a very hot day so the room was hot but it did have portable fan. Welcome and service by the staff was excellent.
The main entrance door has a strong spring on it so very noisy when people allowed it to slam shut.

“The room pretty much ticked all the boxes for me. everything in very good condition, well maintained, very clean room and bathroom. Very reasonably priced. Bath/shower, small touches like biscuit with the tea/coffee kit, and real soap, no nasty squirty dispensers.
It is over a pub, so some conversations audible until 11pm, but not to a problem level, and no restaurant, but plenty of food options within easy walking distance. Pub looked fine as well.”
